Hayward
calls itself "Home of the World Record Muskies" (fish). It
is certainly the home of the world's largest fish-shaped building, the
National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame. There are eight more large
fish statues on the grounds of the museum.
The
town is also billed as "Golf Capital of Wisconsin." But
Hayward is not just for sportsmen. You will find something here for
every member of the family. Aside from the big fish museum and many
antique shops, you may find Hayward to be more a
resort vacation town than a quaint village.

from these Web
sites than in your
neighborhood stores. Many
of them offer
free packing and
shipping to

gift recipient. So,
you can save
time, gas, and
money. Merchant
sites must
meet high security
standards to
advertise
on QuaintPlaces.com.

you know?
When
you place an

days
after

commissions for us.
(Please do not delete your cookies.)
These
commissions, plus sales of our
own photos and cards, are
necessary
to help defray the
cost of maintaining QuaintPlaces.com,
which currently
operates at a loss.
Your
purchases will
help us provide
more
information
and photos about
quaint places.
