Winchester has managed to
preserve many historic sites. The downtown historic district
includes a pedestrian mall (Loudoun Street) and attracts many tourists. In May, the Apple Blossom Festival takes over the
entire downtown and features long parades. The Visitor Center is
near the Interstate highway, outside of the historic district, for easy
access and ample parking. |
