You will enjoy strolling the streets of Leesburg's historic district, especially if you are looking for antiques and home decor. You will find original art and crafts, boutiques, quilts, bakeries, cafes, restaurants, museums, and B&Bs. Don't order tomato basil soup without tasting it first. (It may be very spicy.) Be sure to drive through nearby Waterford, or any of the many QuaintVillages in Loudon County. For an interesting experience, cross the Potomac River into Montgomery County Maryland on White's Ferry ($3 per car).
