Beaufort,
South Carolina
(Pronounced
bew-furt)
|
Beaufort's
historic district is clearly divided into two sections, the grand old
homes, and downtown shops. Both are within walking distance of each other,
but the carriage tours are popular. The town is quite scenic, with its old
oaks, Spanish moss, and waterfront. The unique shops have names like
Barefoot Bubba's, Frogmore Frolics, and Doodlebugs. There is also a
Beaufort, North Carolina, spelled the same, but pronounced
differently. We like them both. |

Why
shop online?
Prices
and selection
are often better
from these Web
sites than in your
neighborhood stores. Many
of them offer
free packing and
shipping to
your
door or to your
gift recipient. So,
you can save
time, gas, and
money. Merchant
sites must
meet high security
standards to
advertise
on QuaintPlaces.com.

Did
you know?
When
you place an
