This well-known 50-acre
facility is part of Wheaton Regional Park. It is well maintained and handicap accessible.
This is a beautiful retreat from the surrounding suburbs. Weddings
are often held here. Parking can be difficult when the azaleas are
in peak bloom in the spring. There are indoor restrooms and gift
shops. Admission is free except for "Garden of
Lights" in December and January. There is a small fee for
the "Wings of Fancy" butterfly house in the summer. |
