You
are right, Chicago is not quaint. But many families choose downtown
Chicago for vacations. There are many great museums and attractions in this sprawling
city, and even a few quaint spots. The famous Colleen Moore Doll
House, in the Museum of Science and Industry, is a popular example.
Many
visitors come for the shopping on the "Miracle Mile," a stretch
of Michigan Avenue north of "the loop" filled with shops,
restaurants, hotels and attractions. Some like the live jazz music
in the nightclubs. Naturally, hotels and parking here are expensive,
but if you stay downtown, walk, and use public transportation, you can
ignore the traffic. The Grant Park area is a long walk or a short bus ride
from the Miracle Mile.

money. Merchant
sites must
meet high security
standards to
advertise
on QuaintPlaces.com.
