Vero
Beach, Florida
(a
HistoricTown)
|
Some
visitors come to Vero Beach to watch the Los Angeles Dodgers in
spring training, but most come for the beach, shopping, golf, and
other vacation fun. The older downtown, inland from the
beach, is small and quiet. You can tour historic homes and
you will find friendly shops and cafes here. The museum in
the former railroad station, built in 1903, is operated by the
historical society. The Heritage Center and Citrus
Museum is near the station. |

Why
shop online?
Prices
and selection
are often better
from these Web
sites than in your
neighborhood stores. Many
of them offer
free packing and
shipping to
your
door or to your
gift recipient. So,
you can save
time, gas, and
money. Merchant
sites must
meet high security
standards to
advertise
on QuaintPlaces.com.
|
Did
you know?
When
you place an
order from these
merchants, they
contribute a small
commission to QuaintPlaces.com. These
commissions
do not increase
the cost of your
purchases. Only
purchases
made within a few
days
after
your
initial "click" to
their sites generate
commissions for us.
(Please do not delete your cookies.)
These
commissions, plus sales of our
own photos and cards, are
necessary
to help defray the
cost of maintaining QuaintPlaces.com,
which currently
operates at a loss.
Your
purchases will
help us provide
more
information
and photos about
quaint places.
