QuaintPlaces
in and around
Orlando,
Florida
|
Orlando
is a tourist city if there ever was one.
It is home to several major theme parks and attractions. These are open
year-round, although they close earlier at night in the winter
months. There is so much to do, that many families vacation here
regularly.
Orlando
is a little over an hour's drive from several Atlantic beaches. Plan
to pay tolls on some of the highways. Sanford,
Cocoa Village, and other QuaintPlaces
are also nearby.
There
are miles of hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, and amusements along
International Drive in Orlando. Wonderworks,
a museum, was built to appear as though it was ripped from the ground and
dropped upside down. The lobby maintains this appearance.

Why
shop online?
Prices
and selection
are often better
from these Web
sites than in your
neighborhood stores. Many
of them offer
free packing and
shipping to
your
door or to your
gift recipient. So,
you can save
time, gas, and
money. Merchant
sites must
meet high security
standards to
advertise
on QuaintPlaces.com.

Did
you know?
When
you place an
order from these
merchants, they
contribute a small
commission to QuaintPlaces.com. These
commissions
do not increase
the cost of your
purchases. Only
purchases
made within a few
days
after
your
initial "click" to
their sites generate
commissions for us.
(Please do not delete your cookies.)
These
commissions, plus sales of our
own photos and cards, are
necessary
to help defray the
cost of maintaining QuaintPlaces.com,
which currently
operates at a loss.
Your
purchases will
help us provide
more
information
and photos about
quaint places.
