Key West, Florida, USA

Key West has a large historic district brimming with tourism. Parking is a problem here and many of the locals use bicycles or walk. There are plenty of hotels outside of the historic district that offer transportation to and from the attractions.

Duval Street is one of Key West's charming features. Locals call it "the longest street in the world" because is runs from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico, although it is only one block long. And there are the 6-toed cats at the Hemingway mansion, the spectacular sunsets, the dolphins, the pirate stories, the artists, the 19th century homes, the Caribbean atmosphere, and much more.

Pay attention to the weather reports. You will be 100 miles from the mainland here and vulnerable to storms.
