Cocoa
Village,
Florida
(a
QuaintVIllage)
|
Small historic downtown Cocoa
is called Cocoa Village today. It is on the mainland, near I-95,
just west of Merritt Island. Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, and the
Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge are nearby.
The popular Kennedy
Space Flight Visitors Center has a surprisingly high admission fee for a
federal facility. However, it takes 5 hours to tour the Center, which
includes an Imax theater.
Cocoa Village is
an outstanding place to visit, shop, and dine. Parking is
free. There is plenty of cool shade. You will find a wide range of original art here. We
highly recommend Cocoa Village.
