Smithsonian Museums, D.C., USA

The Smithsonian Museums are exceptionally good and are free to the public. They are also very popular. Access to the museums on the National Mall is easy via Metro, the Washington D.C. subway system. Parking your car near the Mall can be difficult during weekdays and peak tourist seasons. The mall museums are located among many national monuments and memorials that are also popular.
