This Mediterranean-style
hillside village is
very close to San Francisco. It is home to artists and affluent
commuters. Sausalito offers a
nice variety of art galleries, boutiques, fine restaurants, and lodging without
many of the big city hassles. The drives to Muir Woods and the lighthouse are
slow due to the many twists and turns. Allow a full day for
Sausalito and Muir Woods, or two days to include a boat tour or the
lighthouse tour. |
