picturesque town is located in a valley in the Canadian Rockies (the
Kootenays), about a
10-minute drive from the
24-hour Kingsgate crossing into the USA. It is situated where
the Yahk River meets the Moyie River. Yahk is a good place
for a quiet break or overnight stop. Or, plan your stop during one of the
festivals. |
